    #6 – Toyota 4Runner

Toyota 4Runner — Toyota got an early start in the SUV market with the 4Runner. It has been sold continuously since 1985, and has seen multiple makeovers since.

Now in its fourth generation, the 4Runner looks similar mechanically, but completely different cosmetically. It boasts high ground clearance and plenty of torque in its low range.

Although it is now more popular on-road than off, it still has that spirit to it.
