Nissan Xterra — Nissan Xterra was voted 2006 Motor Trend SUV of the Year. The testers were most impressed with how off-road capable it was.
This SUV is meant to take on excursions in the backcountry. Again, all factors taken into consideration (including price), this vehicle would be my second choice behind the Rubicon, and my first choice if I needed something that held more people and gear more comfortably then the Jeep.
With the newest improvements to this being Hill Descent and Hill Start, it just keeps getting better and better.
