    THE GOOD
The Merrell Reflex sole is a little better than the Vibram sole on the Pulse II. This boot is built to be comfortable out of the box and is made with quality materials.

    THE BAD
The Reflex is comfortable but won’t do for some of the extremes that can occur for avid backpackers. Real warriors will need more ankle support and tougher materials.

    THE FIT & COMFORT
Zero break-in time; the Reflex is ready to go and has a standard foot shape (slight curve and medium width) the same as Nike ACG and The North Face. The arch is low and the toe is slightly narrow.

    THE PRICE
    List price – $130.00
    Average price – $119.95

    OTHER NOTES
If you are wondering why they are hard to find it’s cause they are. The Reflex is a special boot made for Cabela’s and it’s very similar to the Merrell Pulse II.

    Available Sizes: Men’s 7-12, 13, 14
